  • Leaves: basal leaves stalked, round to slightly heartshaped; upper leaves opposite, not stemmed, lobed, lance-shaped
  • Size: Flowers .25" across; plant 4-10" high in bloom
  • Habitat: Moist woods
  • Blooms: April-May

Early blooming, the stem has tiny hairs.
