Large-flowered White Trillium
Trillium grandiflorum

  • Flower: 2-4" wide; 3 large, wavy-edged petals; 3 green sepals; stamens 6, with yellow anthers.
  • Leaves: 3-6" long; broadly ovate with pointed tips.
  • Height: 8-18"
  • Habitat: Rich woods, thickets

The largest and showiest of the trilliums, its white flower has broader petals than the others, sometimes with wavy edges.
